On October 6, 1988, the bodies of two young males were located in a vacant lot in Dorchester, Massachusetts. John Doe #1 possible first name of “Clayton” and John Doe #2 possible first name “Hooker” were discovered under a tarp. Both males were shot in the head. Next to their bodies was a foam cylinder containing two bullet holes and gun powder residue. A “Reebok” gym bag was also located.
DNA testing confirmed the boys are not related to each other, but police suspect that both traveled to the area from Bronx, New York.
Advocacy for Dorchester John Doe(s) was inspired by Mel, advocate for Finley Creek Jane Doe, who was recovered in August 1978, in Oregon.
